Common page for Social Media Channels
Hi all,
I liked this page which Unisys has on its website.
http://www.unisys.com/unisys/about/info.jsp?id=1120000970000710142
This page is like a landing page - people can visit the page and go to any social media channel from the page.
This page has links to various channels such as - Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Blogs.
I feel we should also have a page from the website which will help many users who come to the website to go and view what is happening in other channels.

My opinion about an article-2
Google afraid of Facebook?
After going through the article, I feel that instead of competing and fighting for who is 'bigger and stronger', both the organizations should work together to come closer and provide user a perfect experience. Going by the Analytics, one can say that surely Social Networking has come to a stage where it actually threatens the major search engine Google, but in reality, these statistics keep changing over a period of time.

My views on an article
The article is titled "Is YouTube the Next Google'. Alex Iskold writes stating that many people now prefer searching YouTube for any information rather than going to Google.
He takes an example of Ian Kennedy, a 9 year old boy, and how he uses Internet and YouTube.
I agree to what Alex is trying to say, in my own experience, I have learnt a lot from YouTube. I have learnt new songs, and how to play them on Guitar watching them on YouTube. Surely, I also use Google to search for the lyrics and the chord chart for the song.
It is not the concept of 'A replacing B', but it is more of complementing each other and how they merge to provide a complete learning experience.
As an educator, I know that there are people who learn by reading, who learn by listening, and who learn by viewing something. When all these are combined and a holostic picture is provided, learning also becomes complete.
